Bursting Your Bubble
SERVICE: Friendship First

ABOUT THIS SERIES

It is said that people don't care what you know, unless they know that you care. That's why, when it comes to sharing the love of Christ with people, it's not about treating people as "projects" or "targets" for a gospel presentation. Rather, when it comes to sharing Jesus, friendship is what matters most. So, how can we be the kind of friends who, through the life-changing power of faithful, honest and engaging relationships, earn the opportunity to share the message of Jesus?

To those outside the church, Christians seem to have our own sub-culture that's completely disconnected from the real people who live in the real world. We have our own friends, our own language, even our own music and movies. And while this can present an enormous challenge for outsiders trying to break in, the greater concern may actually be our inability to break out. If God has called us to impact and influence our world, what's it going to take for us to burst our bubble?
