During the month of November, you may have noticed a trend as you passed by the Welcome Centres at each location.

Southridge Special Delivery has become an annual celebration of giving to others in our community during the Holiday season. This year, Special Delivery took on a bit of a different look as, for the first time, we gave to individuals who are directly impacted by our local anchor causes (Seniors and Widows in the North End, Homelessness at Glenridge, and Single-Parent Families in Welland).

Well...the totals are in and more than 400 lives will be touched in Niagara through the Southridge community giving toward Special Delivery. 170 stockings filled with Christmas gifts will be delivered to children who come to Rose City Kids. 150 individuals who find themselves homeless will receive a hygiene kit when they come to stay at the Shelter. And more than 80 long-term care residents at Tabor Manor will receive a gift, an expression of appreciation.

On behalf of the programs - more so, on behalf of the people who will receive these gifts - allow me to say thanks to all for your generosity.
